The summer New York Idealist.org Graduate Degree Fair for the Public Good is generously hosted by the Fordham University Graduate and Professional Schools.
This event is locally supported by Educational Housing Services.

Are you looking to learn more about the issues you care about and find out how to do more meaningful work? Pursue your passion and explore ways to further your social-impact career through graduate school!

At the Idealist.org Graduate Degree Fair for the Public Good, you will have an opportunity to meet graduate admissions representatives from local, national, and international programs to discuss professional development through graduate education. You will also have a chance to attend a free information session offering advice on graduate degree options, the application process, financial aid, and deciding when to attend graduate school after spending time in the working world.

Logistical Information for Recruiters

At the fair, you will have an opportunity to meet global social-change leaders and offer advice on graduate degree options, the admissions process, and financial aid. You will also have a chance to promote your program to prospective graduate students and to other graduate admissions representatives.

REGISTRATION
Registration for graduate admissions recruiters is now closed. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please send an email to chris@idealist.org with the subject line "New York Summer Waiting List."

FEE AND PAYMENT
The cost to attend this event is $395. You have 45 days after registering to make payment. You have an option to pay online with a credit card or by sending a check to Idealist.org, c/o Accounts Payable, 302 5th Avenue, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10001.

REMINDERS
- Recruiters will have access to the venue one hour before the fair begins. Please stop by the registration desk and check in with an Idealist staff member or volunteer.
- If you have a name tag which you use at other recruitment events, please bring it with you. - Each registered program, arranged alphabetically by university and then by school in the fair space, will have one table (typically three by six feet) and two chairs.
- We prefer you do not plan on having access to electricity nor the internet at the fair.
- We will provide a light, self-service dinner and have water brought to your table before and during the event.

- Packages can get lost in the mail. We encourage you to carry extra materials with you. Neither Fordham University nor Idealist.org is responsible for any lost materials.
- If you plan on sending packages back to your school after the fair, please come prepared with payment information.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We have limited space at the fairs and these fill up very quickly. We appreciate knowing about cancellations as soon as possible so we can offer your table to a school on the waiting list and give them enough lead time to make last-minute staffing and travel arrangements.

Cancellations must be made before May 14, 2010, in order to receive a full refund. Those made on or after May 14, 2010, will receive a 50 percent refund of the total cost. We will only accept written requests for cancellations - should you need to cancel your registration for this fair, please send us an email at gradfairs@idealist.org. Please put "Table Cancellation in New York" in the subject line.
